The academic libraries of the colleges conveyed an integral role in supporting the lives of many aspirants in the education sector. Academic libraries will be an integral part of the learning and teaching experience of students and faculty, (Daniel A. Ortiz). This is the need of the hour every college and its academic library has to equip itself with the technological incarnation to meet the needs of the increasing number of learners in higher education institutions. An ex-post facto research design was used for this study. The data was collected from primary sources through a structured schedule developed for the study. All the colleges were personally visited and interviewed to collect the data and some of the colleges sent back filled-up schedules through the mail. Out of 118 colleges, only 63 colleges responded with valuable inputs. All six colleges from Government, 25 from private aided, and 32 from private un aided working in the district positively responded and also found some of the colleges were closed and the rest of the colleges has shown an unwillingness to disclose the college data. The information is collected, classified, and presented in frequency distribution as it groups a large number of series or observations of the master table and presents the data very concisely, giving all information at a glance. The results revealed that all the colleges were majorly (64%) agreed upon the availability of ICT facilities in the libraries, (62%) opined disagreement towards the computerized, automated digitized library with good stalking facilities, and seventy-five percent of the colleges opined agreement on curriculum-related content availability of their respective libraries are up to the mark.
