Abstract
Biggest challenge of 21st century is to combat all types of discriminations and crimes against women simultaneously creating awareness among women regarding their own rights. The present study has conducted to analyze the impact of different variables on women rights awareness among 50 women of Jhansi city. Self- structured questionnaire has been used to collect the data. Chi-square test is used for data analysis. Results showed that women of nuclear families were more aware about their rights in comparison of women of joint and extended families with the χ2 value of.035. No significant association was observed between age and marital status of women with the awareness about women rights.
