Abstract
Information and communication technology (ICT), the amalgamation of computer technology with communication technology has engendered wide range of influence and impacts on almost all spheres of life. Education sector is not an exception to this. Using various technological tools like social media, multimedia applications, blogs, e-learning software ect., currently several attempts are made integrate ICT into education to improve the academic performance of the students. Against this background, the present paper attempts to examine the effectiveness of use of animation as an ICT tool, in primary level education, taking sample from rural schools of Karnataka, an Indian State. The current study is conducted using experimental method and results are analyzed using fuzzy logic.
