Abstract
This article is review based article. The aim of the article was to explore utilization of information resources preferred by university teachers on the basis of extensive study of existing reviews of literature. Study reveals that teachers generally used text book, periodicals, subject experts & informal resources to meet out there academic and professional information needs like teaching preparation or lecturing, to guide students for their research work, to get acquainted with new job opportunities and for participation in new conference and seminar etc. The study indicate that text books and digital resources are mostly preferred resources by teachers at university level. As teachers mostly depend on text books and digital resources to meet out their information needs, so it is suggested that good library and internet services should be provided by colleges and universities to their faculty members.
