Abstract
Entrepreneurship is vital for overall growth of any nation. With ever increasing woman empowerment and gender equality, ithas become signifi cant for woman too, in the recent years.Every day we fi nd out a new story of a female who has defeated the conventional gender roles and embarked out into the business world. This study aims to identify the impact of government policies on women entrepreneurship in Ferozepur district of Punjab. The study works descriptive survey research. The study identifi ed 50 women entrepreneurs running their enterprises eff ectively by using non probability convenient sampling technique. In order to gather data questionnaire was distributed, then the collected data was subject to several statistical analysis using SPSS software. Percentages, mean, standard deviation and chi square were adapted to analyse the data. From the results the researchers concluded that the respondents have moderate level of awareness towards the government policies and suggested that government organizations should organize camps to make women aware about the fi nest side of entrepreneurship.
