Abstract
Pearl Millet is a principal source of energy, protein, vitamins and minerals for millions of the poorest people in the regions where it is cultivated. The present study was conducted in Haryana state. Forty rural women from each Balsamand and BandaHeri villages were selected randomly. Results indicated that the impact was found moderate level with medium level of symbolic adoption. The overall acceptability of value added products of pearl millet was of medium level.
